Flight from Kozhikode to Muscat return to Calicut Airport after a technical snag developed with its weather radar system
An airborne Oman Air flight from Kozhikode to Muscat had to return to Calicut International Airport this morning, after a technical snag developed with its weather radar system.
The aircraft exhausted its aviation fuel by encircling the airport before it landed safely. There were 162 passengers and seven crew members on board the flight.
Oman Air sources said, the passengers and crew have been shifted to a hotel and another aircraft is being arranged tonight to fly the stranded passengers to Muscat.
