Hyderabad: Special counters in NIMS for better medical services for Singareni Employees
Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad has set up special counters for the medical services of Singareni employees and retired employees. On Saturday morning these counters were inaugurated by Director Finance and Personnel Mr. N. Balaram, Director of NIMS Dr. Birappa, GM (Co-ordination) Mr. M. Suresh. They have opened special OP counters for Singareneis in Out Patient Block, Millennium Block, Specialty Block.
Singareni workers referred by Singareni for better medical services and retired workers with CPRMS medical cards have opened these special Singareni counters to directly consult doctors or get admission without the need to wait in the queue along with other patients at the admission counters, NIMS Director Mr. Birappa informed.
NIMS Director Dr. Birappa clarified that this decision has been taken with the intention of not causing any trouble to their family members who are coming for medical services from distant areas where Singareni has spread.
He said that we are serving with the concept that Singareni employees are our employees. NIMS Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced doctors to provide modern medical services in all medical departments.
Director Finance and Personnel Mr. N. Balaram said that NIMS was happy to set up special counters for Singareni workers. It is also gratifying to allocate a special building for the temporary accommodation of the attendants of the patients who come to NIMS Hospital. It is said that it will soon be converted into accommodation.
On this occasion, NIMS Director Birappa explained all the departments of NIMS Hospital to Mr. N. Balaram, Director of Finance and General Manager Coordination to Mr. M. Suresh. Singareni Deputy CMO Dr. Balakotaiah acted as the coordinator for this program.
Singareni Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Balakotaiah, Singareni PRO Mr. S. Srikanth, DMS Dr. KV Krishna Reddy, Dr. Lakshmi Bhaskar, Finance Department Officers Mr. Sridhar, Mr. Venkateswara Rao, Superintendent Mohan, PRO Ms. Lakshmi, Media Relation Officer were also present in this program.
