Work to Open Badrinath National Highway Blocked Due to Landslides Near Chinka in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand, Going on a War Foot
The work to open the Badrinath National Highway, which was blocked due to landslides near Chhinka in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, is going on a war footing. Adequate machines have been deployed to reopen the route from both the sides.
The district administration has made adequate arrangements for water and food to the stranded passengers on both sides of the route.
In order to avoid inconvenience to the pilgrims going to Badrinath and Hemkunt Sahib, the passenger vehicles were stopped at Badrinath, Padukeshwar, Govindghat, Joshimath, Pipalkoti, Mayapur, Chamoli, Nandprayag, Karnprayag, Gauchar and other safe places having markets. Chamoli district administration has appealed to people to travel only when the road is opened
