It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tigress Janaki, a beloved member of our animal community. At the age of 22 years, Janaki had exceeded the average longevity for tigers, and unfortunately, her health had been deteriorating in recent months.

Janaki was not doing well since more than 2 weeks, we tried to sustain it by giving treatment and supplements, however since it is a senile animal, it was not consuming food also very well.

Today morning, despite our best efforts to revive her, we lost it. Janaki had been under the constant care and supervision of our dedicated team of animal experts and veterinarians.

As a senile animal, she had received specialized attention, ensuring her comfort and well-being. On Monday, we had Animal health committee also reviewed the case and committee was also of the opinion, that it has crossed the average longevity age and is in its last days.

Over the years, she served as an ambassador for her species, educating and raising awareness about the importance of tiger conservation. IGZP remains committed to the protection of endangered species.

We will continue our efforts to provide the best possible care to the animals, ensuring their well-being and contributing to the conservation of their species.
