Rain lashed parts of the national capital in the wee hours this morning, bringing respite from the heat. Met department has forecast thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain and gusty winds over and adjoining areas of isolated places of Delhi.
Thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain would also occur over and adjoining areas of Jhajjar, Farukhnagar in Haryana, Muzaffarnagar, Khatauli, Sakoti Tanda, Daurala, Meerut, Modinagar, Pilakhua, Hapur in Uttar Pradesh and Kotputli, Viratnagar in Rajasthan.
The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 39 degree Celsius today with the minimum temperature hovering around 28 degrees Celsius.
