Hyderabad: Harithotsavam in 11 areas across Singareni: Everyone should plant at least three saplings: Director N. Balaram
Shri N. Balaram, Director (Finance, Personnel) at the Green Festival at Singareni Bhavan
Mr. N. Balaram, Director of Finance and Personnel, Singareni Sanstha, called upon every person to grow at least three saplings for the survival of the creatures. The Telangana State Government organized Harithotsavam on today across Singareni as per their instructions. As part of this, he participated as the chief guest in a program held at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad and gave a speech about planting saplings.
He said that the Haritaharam undertaken by the Chief Minister of the state Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao in Telangana is the world’s largest environmental friendly program and the Green Challenge undertaken by MP Mr. Santosh Kumar in his inspiration has also created awareness about greenness worldwide. He said that it is a great thing that due to Haritaharam, significant development of forests has taken place in Telangana state.
According to the instructions of the CMD of Singareni, Sri N. Sridhar, 5.71 crore saplings have been planted in the last 8 years as part of Haritaharam. He said that the green chain undertaken by Singareni is giving good results and it is helping to reduce the temperatures in Singareni areas. If everyone takes care of three plants, they will provide oxygen to living things.
General Manager Coordination Mr. M. Suresh said that Director Finance and Personnel Mr. N. Balaram himself stood as an example for all who planted 16 thousand saplings. He said that it is a privilege to participate in the sapling planting program under his leadership.
Since it is everyone’s responsibility to protect the environment, everyone should also take the responsibility of protecting the plants. Advisor Mining Mr. D.N. Prasad, General Secretary of the Association of Officers Mr. NV Rajasekhar Rao, Administrative Manager Mr. Bhaskar and others participated in this program.
