Telangana Harithotsavam should be successful PCCF Dobriyal direction to forest officials
PCCF Dobriyal conducted Video Conference with All District Forest Officers on eve of Telangana Harithotsavam to be held on June19
On 19th of this month, Telangana Harithotsavam, the main program in Rangareddy district is to organize Harithotsavam in a festive atmosphere across the state. PCCF Dobriyal gave the order through video conference.
Harithotsavam will be held across the state on 19th of this month (Monday) as part of Telangana Dashaabdhi celebrations. Wide range of environmental welfare programs and demonstration of Harithaharam achievements will be held under the auspices of the Forest Department.
Mr. R.M. Dobrial PCCF (HoFF) revealed that Harithotsava will be organized on behalf of the forest department across the state. The arrangements for Harithotsavam were reviewed with the officials of the concerned departments. PCCF held a video conference with the Forest Officers of all the districts.
On the morning of 19th, there will be a plantation program and presentation of results of nine years of Haritaharam as part of the main program in Rangareddy District, Tummalur. In the evening there will be a Harithotsavam program at Rabindra Bharati. There will be a program to honor public representatives, officials and staff who have worked for cultural programs, forest protection and greening of the green areas.
PCCF has requested everyone to make the Harithotsav organized on the occasion of the decade a success. He told the officials of all the districts to plant saplings from every village level, mandal, district and state and make appropriate arrangements for the same. Planting should be done only in well-drained lands keeping in view the rains, after the monsoons have fully extended He asked to intensify the ninth phase of Haritaharam.
On the day of Harithotsavam, Haritaharam’s achievements should be propagated everywhere and special programs should be organized to increase environmental awareness among the people. He said that everyone is enjoying the fruits of greenery spread all over the state, nurseries in every village, natural forests, avenue plantation along roads, urban forest parks and forest restoration, and these achievements should be displayed through posters and videos.
He said that special programs should be organized in the respective areas to increase environmental awareness. It is suggested to name the new plantation areas in villages and mandals as decade forests.
He said that large plants and plant material should be prepared for the plantation program to be held across the state on 19th, and public representatives and voluntary organizations should be involved at all levels. Forest officials of all districts participated in the video conference.
