Hyderabad: Launch of Swachhata Pakhwada in Singareni
Mr. M. Suresh, General Manager (Coordination) SCCL called that if there is a clean environment around us, healthy thoughts and performance will improve, so everyone needs to keep their home environment and offices clean.
On the orders given by the Union Coal Ministry, he inaugurated the Swachhata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnights) program organized for 15 days across Singareni at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Friday.
He said that when the environment is unhygienic, diseases will prevail and then huge expenses will have to be spent on treatment, but if we start keeping the environment clean in advance, we will not be affected by diseases and we will be able to reduce the expenses.
He said that every person should spend at least two hours a week to keep his home environment clean, which will benefit his family and others living there.
He said that Singareni organization undertakes large-scale programs in all areas in the context of Swachhta Pakhwada every year, cleaning mines, offices, surroundings, cleaning colonies, streets and planting saplings.
It is not a government program but everyone is called upon to work voluntarily for themselves and for the health of their family. After that they collectively took a pledge of purity. A large number of heads, officers and employees of all departments participated in the program.
