ECI delegation will visit Telangana to assess and ensure preparedness for the upcoming elections
A delegation from the Election Commission of India will be visiting Telangana to evaluate and ensure the preparedness for the forthcoming election in the State.
The team will be visiting Hyderabad for three days from 22nd of this month. State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj announced this at a high-level meeting held in Hyderabad yesterday. The meeting has been held to discuss and assess the State’s poll preparedness.
He informed that a delegation led by Deputy Election Commissioner Dharmendra Sharma, Senior, and Deputy Election Commissioners, along with senior officials of the ECI, will review the preparedness of the State machinery for the upcoming assembly elections in the State.
The ECI delegation will be holding crucial meetings with CEO, Special Police Nodal Officer, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Nodal Officer among others. The CEO said the collaborative effort aims to foster coordination at State and District Levels to preserve the integrity of the electoral process.
