Hyderabad, 12 June 2023: India’s largest iron ore producer, NMDC organized a Customer Meet in Donimalai, Karnataka on Sunday. The State Miner operates three fully mechanized iron ore mining complexes in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka and ensures a steady supply of iron ore to the steel sector.
NMDC’s Director (Commercial) Shri V Suresh, Shri. A.K. Padhy, Executive Director (Commercial), Shri Sanjeev Sahi, Head of Project (Donimalai) and other senior officials represented the company.
Strengthening its relationship with its stakeholders, NMDC hosted over 30 customers from the Steel sector and sponge iron, pig iron, and pellet industries. Future initiatives of NMDC to enhance iron ore production in general and from Donimalai in particular was the key agenda of the Meet. NMDC collected comprehensive feedback and engaged with the customers to improve their experience going forward.
The customers were briefed on NMDC’s production, logistics, future plans and upcoming projects, followed by an Interactive Session on the company’s product quality, delivery and customer service.
Addressing the Meet, Shri V Suresh said, “The Customer Meet has provided a great opportunity for NMDC to strengthen its relationship with its customers and increase its reach. More such interactions in the future will help us develop customer-centric solutions.” He also shared the company’s ambitious plans to enhance its production to 67 MTPA and further to 100 MTPA keeping up with the growing demand from the domestic market.
NMDC customers expressed their confidence in the company’s capability to meet their needs.
