Telangana: Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy unveiled the Haritotsavam poster
Mr. Allola Indrakaran Reddy, Minister for Forest and Environment, Govt of Telangana revealed that a special Haritotsavam is being held on 19th of this month as part of Telangana Avatarana Dashabdi festival. The Minister unveiled the Haritotsavam poster in the Secretariat along with the officials of the Forest Department.
The Forest Department has prepared two posters detailing the special programs and achievements implemented as part of Haritaharam for the past nine years. Planting crores of saplings on a large scale, avenue plantation, rural nature forests, urban parks, and the programs undertaken inside the forests as part of reforestation were presented in the posters.
The Minister revealed that the Forest Department is making special arrangements to showcase the achievements of Haritaharam in every village, town and government office on the occasion of the Decade Festival. The Minister said that the ninth phase Haritaharam will be started on the occasion of Haritotsavam on June 19. The minister called everyone to participate and plant saplings.
The Minister said that the formation of Telangana is as special as the schemes implemented by Chief Minister KCR after the formation of the state. He said that Haritaharam is receiving national level appreciation for Telangana which is implementing for 33 percent greenness.
The minister said that everyone has a share in every award and recognition received for this scheme, and on the occasion of the World Environment Day, everyone should be reorganized to increase greenness.
