Modi Govt’s nine-year rule has provided services and benefits to the poor: Anurag Singh Thakur
Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has said that the Modi Government in last nine years has made its identity by providing good governance and service and providing benefits to the poor.
The Minister said in last nine years 27 percent of people have been able to come out of poverty line taking the benefit of government’s various schemes for the welfare of the people.
He said due to government’s various initiatives, all public sector banks are running in profit, besides the government has also found solution to various Non-Performing Assets.
On creating a conducive atmosphere for aspiring entrepreneurs, Mr Thakur said India now ranks third in the world in the number of start-ups, hundreds among them achieving the unicorn status.
Talking about providing benefits to the farmers, he said the government has provided Rs 35 thousand crores crop insurance, besides providing more than Rs 2 lakh crore as subsidy for urea. He said in last nine years 3.5 lakh crore kilometers roads in rural India.
Mr Thakur had come for a one-day visit to Mumbai to attend a Sindhi community function in distant suburbs of Ulhasnagar in Thane district in which he visited the holy Swami Shanti Prakash Ashram of the Sindhi community and also took Darshan of Head of the ashram Devprakash Maharaj.
