The Department of Mathematics, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad is going to organize a Three-Day Workshop on ‘Physics of Fluids: Methods and Applications’ (PFMA) during 19-21, June 2023.
The main objective of the workshop (Part IV) is to introduce the participants to the basic modeling aspects of fluid dynamics, analytical and numerical works like Perturbation Methods, Differential Transformation Method (DTM), FDM, and FVM to solve nonlinear differential equations that appear in fluid flow problems. Hands-on tutorials on Numerical techniques with Mathematica and/or Matlab are included in the workshop.
This session also targets to motivate participants to enhance their research presentation skills. The slots for this session will be limited. Participants willing to participate in this session have to declare beforehand their willingness.
Such participants have two options, namely, (a) bring a presentation that they already have on a problem of their interest or (b) pick up a problem during the workshop and prepare a presentation. In either case, they are supposed to make a presentation based on their participation experience, inputs gained, and work done during the workshop and then make a final presentation.
