TSREDCO Chairman Y. Satish Reddy inaugurates the Telangana Decade celebrations of saplings
Telangana state has entered the tenth year of its formation today. On this occasion, there is a festive atmosphere all over the state. Chairman Y. Satish Reddy started the campaign by planting saplings at Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation office in Hyderabad. He planted saplings along with MD Janaiah in the premises of Redco head office. Environmental protection is everyone’s responsibility.. Everyone is called to plant saplings on special days in their life.
Chairman Y. Satish Reddy hoisted the national flag at Redco headquarters as part of Telangana state’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Speaking on this occasion, he said that 24 hours electricity is one of the great achievements of Telangana state. They expressed their happiness to be part of such a power sector. Appreciated the employees.
He said that increased per capita electricity consumption and per capita income indicate the development of our state. In renewable energy, it is a great success to jump from 500 megawatts in 2014 to 4500 megawatts at present. He reminded that NITI Aayog appreciated the implementation of Energy Conservation Building Code undertaken by REDCO. Satish Reddy said that all this is possible because of Telangana state provider CM KCR.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. N. Janaiah, Vice Chairman & MD TSRedco recalled the struggles of those days for the achievement of the state. He said that there were dire conditions before the achievement of the state.. Now under our rule, the state is progressing in development.
He said that Telangana has become a role model for the country. On this occasion, a brochure prepared on the achievements of the Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation was unveiled. Redco GM, DGM Srinivas, Anil Reddy, Redco employees and staff participated in this program.
