Manipur: IPS officer of Tripura cadre Rajiv Singh given charge post of DGP

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet gave the approval for inter-cadre deputation of Mr. Rajiv Singh who was taking charge of IG, CRPF.
 
The 1993 IPS officer of the Tripura cadre Rajiv Singh has been given charge of the post of Director General of Police (DGP) in Manipur. He replaces Mr. P. Doungel, who has been transferred to the post of OSD (Home), according to an official order released today.

It may be mentioned that the IPS officer Rajiv Singh had been sent to Manipur on inter-deputation for three years on Wednesday. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet gave the approval for inter-cadre deputation of Mr. Rajiv Singh who was taking charge of IG, CRPF.
