IMD predicts heavy rains in northwest India and parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala

Meanwhile, conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some parts of Maldives and Comorin area, some more parts of Southwest, Southeast, Central and Northeast Bay of Bengal during the next 2 to 3 days.
