3rd Khelo India University Games: Events of wrestling begins in Varanasi
Events of wrestling began at IIT BHU ground in Varanasi under the 3rd Khelo India University games on Saturday morning. Around 240 wrestlers from different universities across the country are participating in the competitions.
The events of Wrestling will be conducted from today to Monday and after that, the events of Yogasana will continue till the 3rd of June. On the other hand the events of swimming, Kabaddi and basketball are being held in Gautam Budh Nagar.
Yesterday semi-final of the Kabaddi event was organised in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Khelo India University games are being held at 4 places in Uttar Pradesh, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Varanasi, Lucknow and Gorakhpur.
The events of rowing will be held at Gorakhpur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grace the closing ceremony of the 3rd Khelo India University games on the 3rd of June in Varanasi.
