IMD predicts heat wave conditions over isolated pockets of northwest, central and east India for next 2-3 days
India Meteorological Department, IMD has predicted heat wave conditions over isolated pockets of northwest, central and east India during next two to three days.
The maximum temperatures are likely to rise by 2 to 4 degree Celsius over Northwest India during next three days. IMD has forecast heat wave conditions in isolated pockets over Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
It said, due to humid air and high temperature, hot and discomfort weather is also likely over Odisha, Konkan region, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
