In Italian Open Tennis, Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan will take on Ukraine’s Anhelina Kalinina in the summit clash at the centre court in Rome today. The match will start at 9 pm IST.
Wimbledon Champion and seventh seed Rybakina of stormed into the women’s singles final defeating former French Open winner Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia 6-2, 6-4 in the semifinal in Rome today.
Earlier, Anhelina Kalinina reached final beating 11th seed Russia’s Veronika Kudermetova in the first semifinal 7-5, 5-7, 6-2.
Men’s Singles semifinals will also be played today. While third seed Daniil Medvedev will take on fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece, fourth seed Casper Ruud of Norway will meet World Number Seven Holger Rune of Denmark.
