Hardeep Singh Puri hails success of RERA implementation

Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on Tuesday complimented the distance traversed in implementation of Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, RERA and the also its success stories. He said, despite that a lot more needs to be done to utilize the full potential of this path-breaking legislation.
 
The Minister was addressing the 4th meeting of the Central Advisory Council constituted under RERA which was held under his chairmanship in New Delhi on 9 May.
 
During the meeting various issues related to the implementation of RERA, issue of non-compliance of orders passed by Regulatory Authorities, concerns related to safety of construction workers, issue of legacy stalled projects and awareness campaign for RERA were deliberated in detail.
