G20: Mumbai gears up for third Energy Transition Working Group meeting scheduled from May 15 to 17
The Meeting of the third Energy Transition Working Group of G-20 will be held in Mumbai from the 15th to the 17th of May. State Chief Secretary Manoj Saunik reviewed the preparation for the upcoming event today.
Addressing the Review Meeting, the Chief Secretary said that necessary service facilities should be made available to the delegates coming for the G-20 meetings.
He added that concerned Departments should appoint coordination officers and they should be given necessary training. He suggested that the concerned Departments should take action on the issues raised by them.
Union Energy Secretary Alok Kumar participated in today’s Review Meeting through video conferencing from New Delhi. Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, Energy Department Principal Secretary Abha Shukla, Mumbai Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner P Velarasu, School Education Department Principal Secretary Ranjit Singh Deol, Health Services Commissioner Dheeraj Kumar, Industrial Development Commissioner Manik Gursal, Information Director Hemraj Bagul, Cultural Working Director Bibhishan Chawre were among others who attended the Review Meeting.
