Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting at Shivamogga in Karnataka on Sunday. Expressing gratitude towards the people of Bengaluru for turning up into huge numbers in his road show,

Mr Modi said immense love and trust shown by the people of Bengaluru had touched his heart and he will forever be indebted to Karnataka.
 
Questioning the credibility of the Congress, Mr. Modi said it can never fulfill promises made in its manifesto. Calling the Congress’ promise of giving 10 lakh jobs in the next five years,

Mr. Modi said it is a blatant lie. He added that during its 3.5 years of governance in Karnataka, BJP has created 13 lakh formal jobs every year.
       
Mr. Modi warned the people of Karnataka that Congress’ policies will ruin the ecosystem of investment in the State. Highlighting India’s achievements in the field of agriculture, the Prime Minister said, India is now amongst top ten agriculture exporter countries.
