Telangana: Last rites of Martyred Army Jawan Puppala Anil held with full military honors

The last rites of Martyred Army Jawan Pabbala Anil held on Saturday with full military honors at his native village Malkapur in Rajanna Sircilla district in Telangana. Anil sacrificed his life in the line of duty in Jammu and Kashmir two days ago.

State Ministers and public representatives besides a  large number of people thronged Malkapur village to pay their last respects. Major General Rakesh Manocha, General Officer Commanding Headquarters Telangana and Andhra Sub Area laid a wreath and paid homage to Anil. BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar, State Planning Board vice-chairman B Vinod Kumar, among others paid tributes to departed Army jawan.

Mortal remains of Battle casualty Cfn (AF) Pabballa Anil of the Army Aviation Squadron (UH) arrived by a Service aircraft at Air Force Station Hakimpet near Hyderabad yesterday. 

He sacrificed his life in the line of duty on a day before when an Army Aviation ALH Dhruv helicopter which is on an operational mission made a precautionary landing on the banks of the Marua River in the Kishtwar region of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian Army organised a wreath-laying ceremony to pay tributes to the valiant soldier. General Officer Commanding Headquarters Telangana & Andhra Sub Area, Major General Rakesh Manocha, laid a wreath and paid homage to late Cfn (AF) Pabballa Anil.

The mortal remains departed to his native village Malkapur in the Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana by road. A Defence release stated that the last rights will be conducted with full military honours at his native place.
