Hyderabad: Emergency Medical Facility available on Platform No.10 at Secunderabad Railway Station
Emergency medical facility for the convenience of passengers has been provided at Secunderabad station on 5th May, 2023.Dr.C.Venkateswarlu, Principal Chief Medical Director, South Central Railway,ShriAbhay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager.Secunderabad Division, DrNirmalaRajaram, Chief Medical Superintendent,Secunderabad Division,ShriPradeep Kumar Singh Rathore, Additional Divisional Railway Manager/Infr/Secunderabad andDrV.S.Ramchandra, Chairman, Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals, DrTusharaRamchandra, Lion ShriVenugopal and ShriVenkat Rao, Ex.CEO 108 Services were present.
Sri SriHolisitic Hospitals (Lions club) has undertaken to run this emergency care centre for two years at free of charge. The Emergency Medical Room is situated at Platform No.10 near booking office. It will offer first aid medical assistance to bonafide railway passengers with valid PNR number. The services will be free and operates 24 x 7 with an ambulance at stand by.
Speaking on the occasion,ShriAbhay Kumar Gupta, DRM, Secunderabad stated that this Emergency Medical facility will fulfill theemergent need to help sick and injured passengers. The ambulance will help to carry the persons who are in need of emergency treatment inserious condition to nearby hospitals without any delay.
