Telangana: Siddipet ideal for greening programs initiated by KCR as MLA and CM: Minister Harish Rao

Mr. T. Harish Rao Telangana State Finance and Health Minister inaugurated the building of Central – Mega Nursery, Center for Excellence Harita Nidhi Nursery, Forest Beat Officers Quarters-3 at Marpadaga, Tejovanam Urban Forest Park, a suburb of Siddipet.

State Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao said that Siddipet has become an ideal platform for setting up today’s Harita Nidhi as KCR’s Harita Haram program was initiated as an MLA then as Chief Minister today.

On Friday, the Minister inaugurated the Central – Mega Nursery, followed by the Center for Excellence Harita Nidhi Nursery and then the Forest Beat Officers’ Quarters-3 at Marpadaga at Tejovanam Urban Forest Park, a suburb of Siddipet.

Speaking on this occasion, the minister advised the forest officials to give first priority to avenue plantation. The minister mentioned that a central nursery with a capacity of 50 lakh plants has been set up and a fund of Rs.5 crore 85 lakh has been allocated for three years.

The officials of the forest department were directed to manage this mega nursery so that the fruits, flowers and beautification plants required for the rural areas and urban areas of Siddipet district can be grown from this area and the plants can be purchased here instead of going anywhere else.

It is suggested to make vermicompost from fallen leaves in the nursery in Tejovanam Urban Park.

He said that it is commendable that the Siddipet District Green Fund has set up a central nursery with a capacity of 50 lakh plants and 5 crore 85 lakh for three years.

Forest officials briefed the Minister on the development issues of Chintamadaka Urban Park and Gajvel Kalpaka Vanam Urban Park. On this occasion, the minister reviewed the forest development photo session organized under the auspices of the forest department and gave many suggestions and suggestions.

Along with Minister Harish, ZP Chairperson Roja Sharma, Rajanna Circle CCF-B. Saidulu, Siddipet District Forest Officer Kothapalli Srinivas, Siddipet Forest Range Officer Syed Ikramuddin, many public representatives and forest department officials participated in this program.
