In tennis, Indian-Australian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden stromed into the final of Madrid Open in Spain. Bopanna and Ebden ousted 8th seeds Santiago Gonzalez and Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the last four.

The Indian-Australian pair, seeded 7th, are aiming for their third title of the season after Doha open and Indian Wells. Bopanna and Ebden will next meet Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev.

In women’s singles, No.2 seed Aryna Sabalenka overpowered No.9 seed Maria Sakkari in the semifinals to advance to the final. Sabalenka awaits the winner of the second semifinal between No.1 seed Iga Swiatek and No.12 seed Veronika Kudermetova.

In men’s singles, world No.2 amd defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will square off against World No. 20 Borna Coric in the semifinals of the Madrid Open today.
