Telangana: 4 FM transmitters at Nalgonda, Devarakonda, Sirpur and Peddapalli made available for people
In Telangana, 4 FM transmitters at Nalgonda, Devarakonda, Sirpur and Peddapalli have been made available for people enhancing AIR FM network in the state this morning.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 91 FM transmitters of 100 watts across the country in virtual mode in the presence of local public representatives and senior officials of All India Radio and District Officials.
These FM transmitters have an effective coverage of about 20 kilometres radius each and help further expand AIR FM coverage in the state for information and entertainment to the people. Parliament Member Soyam Bapurao and several public representatives and a large number of students joined the ceremony.
