Singareni: Negligence of duties will lead to action: Director N Balaram

Mr. N. Balaram , Director (Finance and Personnel) SCCL said that not even a single file related to the workers should be kept pending in the personnel department in all areas of Singareni, zero pendency policy will be implemented immediately and strict action will be taken. He warned that action would be taken if the officials were negligent in solving the problems.

He informed that soon he will conduct surprise inspections throughout Singareni. On Wednesday evening, he conducted a long review on the performance of the department with the General Managers of all areas, personnel department officers and corporate personnel officers.

Noticing that there is a serious delay in reporting, preparing reports and proposing note files on workers’ personal and employment problems in many areas, he made it clear that action should be taken on a war footing basis in all areas within a month without even a single pending file. He said that there will be no tolerance for anyone who commits any illegal acts of corruption.

While sending names during dependent employment, all types of documents should be examined and proposed strictly according to the rules. He said that the initiative should be taken to complete the nomination forms and convert the bank accounts of the workers into corporate salary package in all areas so that the insurance scheme offered by the banks will be applicable.
