IPL-2023: Gujarat Titans defeat Lucknow Super Giants by 7 runs
Gujarat Titans defeated Lucknow Super Giants by seven runs at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Saturday. Chasing a target of 136 runs, Lucknow Super Giants scored 128 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
With 12 runs required in the final over, Mohit Sharma bowled an excellent over as Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) lost four wickets and managed just four runs in it.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the Gujarat Titans made 135 runs for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Hardik Pandya top-scored for the team with 66 runs, while Wridhiman Saha made 47 runs. For Lucknow Super Giants, Krunal Pandya and Marcus Stoinis took two wickets each.
