Indian Software industry is expected to reach 100 billion US Dollars by 2025: Union Minister Anurag Thakur
Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Information & Broadcasting Anurag Thakur today said that the country is witnessing a digital revolution and enormous growth in IT sector and the Indian Software industry is expected to reach 100 billion US Dollars by 2025.
Addressing the convocation of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudhur, Tamil Nadu, the Minister said, youth are the drivers of our economy and development for years to come.
The Minister also pointed out that India is the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world. He said, the cabinet has taken a decision to launch the National Quantum Mission and Rs.6300 crore has been sanctioned for that project.
India is the 7th country in the world to launch the Quantum Mission. Stating that Tamil Nadu is a powerhouse of raw talent and skill, Mr. Thakur asked the youth to engage in continuous learning to keep in their fields for professional sustenance.
