Govt plans to develop more than 250 projects with Ropeway length of over 1200 kilometers in 5 years under Parvatmala Pariyojana: Nitin Gadkari
Government has planned to develop more than 250 projects with Ropeway length of over 1200 kilometers in 5 years under Parvatmala Pariyojana.
Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said this while addressing INTERALPIN 2023 Fair, the Leading International Trade Fair for Alpine Technologies at Innsbruck, Austria.
He said, government is promoting the manufacturing of ropeway components under the Make in India initiative.
Mr. Gadkari said, India encourages the Austrian and European industries to participate in the enhancement of existing ropeway standards to ensure sustainable and safer transport.
He said, the country’s focus is on Public Private Parternship (PPP) under Hybrid Annuity Model with 60 percent contribution support by Government of India.
